Planology is the science in Urban and Regional Planning Engineering to realize the consistency and coherence and the spatial development of the city through the processes of identification, analysis, planning, utilization, and control of physical and non-physical elements which are the development of the region and the city.
In line with regional autonomy, scholars need Urban and Regional Planning Engineering (Planology) increased rapidly. Competencies of Graduates of S1 Urban and Regional Planning Engineering (Planology)
Urban and Regional Planning Engineering graduate equipped with knowledge, ethics, skills and ability to formulate problems of the area and the city as well as good planning and applicative through a holistic approach and maximum performance in the utilization and control of spatial planning. Having the ability to integrate an understanding of socio-economic-political and spatial physical city and the region in line with national development but it is also equipped with the ability to utilize information and communication technologies. Have the motivation to keep up with technology, applying the principles of planning techniques through critical thinking and analytical intellectually, socially and culturally.
